As a logo designer, I never satisfied with fonts. Year by year designing logo by logo, I never stick with a certain font as some fonts are suitable only for female audience, some only for male audience. Some fonts are suitable only for a serious logo but not suitable enough for a fun logo, and vice-versa.
As I'm now part of a group of Malaysians which give warning of the coming Doomsday, LayarBahtera, I believe that I must do something to make the formal letters from LayarBahtera Leader (my boss) look exclusive, serious but friendly at the same time.
What did I do?
With the help from all of LayarBahtera fellow teammate, as we mankind are celebrating the Doomsday Fiesta with disasters here and there, now I present you....(music please).....
a fresh looking spurless font that we named 'LAYARBAHTERA DOOMSDAY'. An official font for LayarBahtera. A rounded font for satisfying both male's and female's liking. A font which is suitable for various type of logo designs; from luxurious-looking logos to the latest friendly web 2.0 style logos.

This font was designed with what we called 'When Smooth and Sharp Collide' concept. The letter's corners is sharp at one end and smooth at another. This gives it just enough updated feel without being overly futuristic.
